Abstract Many researchers have carried out experimental and numerical investigations to examine building structures’ response explosive loads. Studies of bridges subjected blast loads are limited. Hence, in this study, we present a case study on cable-stayed bridge, namely, Charles River Cable-Stayed Bridge-Boston, assess its robustness resistance against the progressive collapse resulting from localized failure due Three different scenarios considered interpret bridge performance To monitor mechanisms structural elements blast, pre-defined plastic hinges assigned deck.
